1983年从黄谭乡划出另立为乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年一度叫管理区，1999年恢复村民委员会之称，此后未再变动。[1]

主要经济作物是果类、菜豆类；特色收入来自荔枝、龙眼；上一年（该网未注明年份）村经济总收入为1830万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2024年3月，坡富村获命名「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
