山海社区是电白区高地街道的社区，位于孟信村一带，属城乡结合区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区由4个自然村组成，南面是海、西面是山丘，因而取名山海[1]。1978年自澳内大队分出山海大队，1983年称乡，1989年为管理区，1999年为村委会，2002年起为居委会[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，辖4个村民小组，在册625户、3735人，总面积1.8平方千米，耕地13亩[1]。以海产品加工和贸易为主，海参、鱼肚、鱼翅是其中的大宗[1]。年均气温26摄氏度，年降水量约1514毫米[1]。
