墨胶社区是电白区高地街道的社区，位于旧进港公路边的墨胶市场旁，属城乡结合区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

名称取自居民所在的墨胶[1]。1960年自那贞乡分出，称墨胶大队；1983年设墨胶乡，1987年设村委会，1989年为管理区，1999年复为村委会，2002年改今名[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，辖12个村民小组，在册914户、5889人，总面积1.6平方千米，耕地72亩[1]。种植龙眼、荔枝和蔬菜，以反季节龙眼、荔枝为特色，并有木材加工业[1]。年均气温27摄氏度，年降水量约1418毫米[1]。
