青桐村在湛江市雷州市英利镇东部，背靠龙脊岭和鹰峰岭，村前是青桐洋的田野。[2]青桐村在2013年8月列入「第二批中国传统村落」名录。[1][4]村名来自村址原有的高大青桐树，也与它所在的青桐洋有关；据博雅地名网转载的介绍，青桐洋是湛江四大玛珥湖之一。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网转载的介绍，青桐村始建于明代隆庆年间。隆庆至万历年间，詹姓先人詹团最早来此垦荒，随后吴、邓、陈等姓陆续迁入。詹团是东莞天赐公的后裔，贡生出身，曾任琼州府教授。[2]

青桐旧属徐闻县，1951至1958年是徐闻第四区下的青桐乡。1967年改隶海康县并设大队，此后依次是：1984年青桐乡、1987年2月村委会、1989年管理区，1999年定名青桐村民委员会。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中有詹、吴、邓、陈、李、薛、王、周、卞等十多个姓氏。[2]明清时期，吴姓在当地势力最大。该介绍称，两朝间村中取得科名的有134人，做官的83人，所以被称作“徐闻第一村”；各姓集资建祠，今存宗祠6座，共13200平方米。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

雷州吴氏宗祠建于清光绪十三年（1887年），分前后两座四合院式的砖木建筑，1925年为防匪患砌墙连成一体，总占地约2020平方米，其中建筑900平方米，格局为四进、五厅、七个天井，另有一亭三楼；梁架、檐下与墙面有彩绘、灰塑、石雕和木雕。海康县政府于1992年将它定为文物保护单位。[3]

另一篇介绍中记有刚栗公祠，称它由告老还乡的吴运环、吴运申兄弟主持兴建，历时三年建成，建筑面积2350平方米，新中国成立后曾用作粮仓和学校。这一描述与上述吴氏宗祠相近，但两处所记面积不同，介绍里没有说明是否同一建筑。[2]村中尚存“怀仁里”“进士第”“外翰第”等清代古宅，“怀仁里”相传是徐闻知县吴霏的宅第，占地建筑2800多平方米，共65间房。[2]

文化[edit]

村里习武的传统已有300多年。据介绍，清嘉庆年间，武生詹大科回乡创办青桐武术团，是雷州半岛较早的民间武术社团之一；近年村里又成立了醒狮团。[2]

荣誉[edit]

青桐村是2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布），入选湛江市2020年度「全市先进文明村」和「全市文明村」（2021年1月），并在2026年3月获认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[1]
