英利社区位于湛江市雷州市英利镇的镇中心区。[1]社区居民委员会的驻地设在英利圩村，社区因此得名。[1]该社区是2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，2019年9月公布。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年定名英利社区居民委员会；在这之前，这里先设居民管理区，而1985年以前、新中国成立之后则是居民大队。[1]
