历史沿革[edit]
崇祯年间（明末），丁维真自雷州府淡水社六年村迁来调铭村。[2] 1983年以前的调铭大队包括调铭、题桥、迈生、家里等十几个村庄；1984年至1987年并在里仁乡之内，1988年分出，设调铭管理区，1989年至1991年间设村委会，1999年成立调铭村民委员会。[2]
地理与村落[edit]
据百度百科，村庄背靠明山，面对大片农田，日、月、星三墩和龟、蛇二墩环列，地形被喻为鲤鱼戏水；该页称之为湛江市特色文化村。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
百度百科所载：245户、1276人，耕地共3428亩（坡地2213亩，水田1215亩）；经济作物有香蕉、菠萝、甘蔗、北运菜，另种水稻；2007年人均收入2900元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2013年8月入选第二批中国传统村落；2022年9月被认定为湛江市文明村和先进文明村；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[2]
