企水镇是广东省湛江市雷州市西部沿海的一个镇，西面濒临北部湾，东邻唐家镇，南接北和镇，北连纪家镇，镇政府驻企水港，距雷州市区54千米[1]。全镇面积109.28平方千米，第七次人口普查（2020年11月1日）的常住人口为42269人；据2021年10月底的统计，下设一个社区和二十个行政村[1]。镇名来自企水港，是一个以渔港为中心发展起来的渔业镇[2][3]。
历史沿革[edit]
企水港的建制可追溯到明代，清乾隆至嘉庆年间港口的开发已初具规模[1][3]。港口背山面海，前面是一处潟湖型港湾，水域大而水深，涨落潮时海水吞吐量大、水流湍急，故称急水湾，清代以前此港名为急水埠，行政上归雷州府武朗社的第六都[3]。
民国时期改称企水港，归武朗社土亩乡；1938年（民国二十七年）建企水乡。新中国成立后的1949年12月，这里归海康县第五区管；1951年企水港升为企水镇，改隶海康十一区。此后区划屡有变动，至1984年又改称企水镇[3]。
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，企水港三面临海、地势低，远望好像有人站在水中，“企”即站立之意，镇名由港名而来，镇政府驻企水港[2][7]。
经济[edit]
渔业是全镇的主业。博雅地名网转载的一份旧概况（未注明年份，文中提到“八五”计划）称：该文称当时的镇域为5.6平方千米，设21个管理区，有47个自然村和11249人，其中渔民过半；机动渔船350艘，合9247吨，年渔获1.62万吨，值3880万元，占农业收入的三分之二左右（原文66％）；文中还把企水港列为全省17个一级渔港之一[2][4]。这份概况所指范围明显小于今日的镇域（面积109.28平方千米）。
企水渔港现被百度百科称作二级渔港。水域面积1815.74公顷。2020年经农业农村部审核，入选首批「国家级海洋捕捞渔获物定点上岸渔港」。2018至2019年间，港区先后升级了防浪堤、加固了护岸，并疏浚避风塘；2025年，雷州市人民政府又发布了修订后的《雷州市企水渔港港章》[5]。2019年，全镇有工业企业7个[1]。
农业方面，企水镇有4个村入选广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单：田园村（红薯）、博袍村（圣女果）、乌黎村（圣女果）和赏村（青枣）[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
覃态岭墓群位于镇内覃态岭，1976年发现，时代自汉至南朝，共有50多座墓，分砖室墓、珊瑚石墓、瓮棺葬三类，其中瓮棺葬最多；同年发掘了其中3座。砖室墓为长方形券顶，随葬有釉陶碟、双耳陶罐、陶纺轮、铁刀、铁剪和五铢钱；珊瑚石墓以海边的珊瑚石筑椁，瓮棺葬则用陶瓮、陶釜相套作葬具，被认为是当地古代少数民族的葬俗[6]。
