下甶村是广东省湛江市廉江市和寮镇西部的村委会，驻下甶部，离和寮圩约5公里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村在上甶村的下方，故称下甶；中华人民共和国成立前叫下甶铺[1]。前身是1959年的下甶大队，此后改称下甶乡（1984年）、下甶管理区（1987年），1999年起为村民委员会[1]。

人口与产业[edit]

耕地1556亩，人口2970人（村委会辖区），下辖均田、庆头垌、石头埚、沙田垌、破岭、竹坳、下甶、君山、柯木埇等11个自然村；姓氏有涂、黄、禤、冯、潘、邱、曾、许、刘、叶10个，村里有猪场6间，矿产有铅锌矿和瓷土[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
