建设社区是广东省湛江市廉江市罗州街道辖下的社区，位于街道西北部，1991年2月组建，因靠近建设大道得名[1][2][3]。

地理与社会[edit]

区域面积约1.8平方公里，东到广隆商业城，南背靠廉江市人民政府，西到新风南路并与城北街道同济社区交界，北到环市北路并与城北街道中山社区交界[2]。简介称常住户7231户、总人口18044人（未注明年份），辖内有人民银行、农发行、教育局、国土局等26个单位及市第六小学、城北市场、廉苑公园，个体工商户750户；设28个居民小组[2]。2004年5月廉城镇撤销、设街道后，社区归罗州街道管辖；2019年9月，建设社区入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
