历史沿革[edit]

麻城大队成立于1958年，1984年起称麻城乡，之后名称几经更易，1999年定为麻城村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

全村总人口4530人，辖区共7030亩，含耕地4600亩、林地300亩。经济以农业为主，没有工业。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年1月，入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
