沙沟尾村是广东省湛江市麻章区麻章镇的行政村，据百度百科是革命老区村庄，建村于清代中期，已有三百多年历史，村民以李姓为主，建有李氏宗祠。[1]

2015年5月，沙沟尾村从大塘村委会划出，另立村民委员会。[2]

村紧靠湛江市区，东邻霞山区的西厅村、陈铁村，南连霞山区芩擎村和东纯村，西接调塾村和江门坡村，北至大塘村和李家村；土地一千多亩，人口1800多人；村内有一所公立小学，设有公厕、球场和健身休闲场所。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，沙沟尾村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[2]
