2015年5月，厚礼南村从大塘村委会划出，另立村民委员会。[2]

发展[edit]

湖光快线通车改善了村里的交通。据百度百科，乡村振兴规划把它列为重点提升的村庄，示范带建设强调各村有各自特色，村里还计划兴建农旅产业园。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」；2022年9月获认定为「湛江市文明村」；2023年4月列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位名单」。[2]
