甘林村是广东省湛江市麻章区麻章镇的行政村；百度百科和文物资料多写作甘霖村。村内的梁氏宗祠是抗日时期的民众夜校旧址，1995年被公布为湛江市文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

甘林1958年称营，1982年成乡，1986年设村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1999年重新称村民委员会。[3]

地理与人口[edit]

据百度百科，村在湛江市区西北约7公里，同遂溪县黄略镇交界，国道325线与粤海铁路在这里相交；户籍人口约5000（据第六次人口普查），耕地1608亩。该条目称村名来自历史上广种甘蔗。[1]

革命历史[edit]

1939年，遂溪七小的中共党支部派支仁山等人到村里，把梁氏宗祠作校舍，开办抗日民众夜校，教村民认字、唱抗日歌曲、讲抗日故事；不久同陈村仔的夜校合办，学员有300多人。[2]据记载，抗日战争和解放战争时期，村里先后有98名青年参加革命队伍，56人入党，25人牺牲，其中19人在新中国成立后被追认为烈士。[2]

宗祠始建于1908年9月，为坐北朝南的四合院式砖瓦房，共5间厅房，曾被烧毁3次，新中国成立后修复，2017年由麻章区人民政府出资再次整修；占地378平方米，保护范围650平方米，辟有4个展室。1995年10月，湛江市人民政府将它列为市文物保护单位；2013年11月，中共湛江市委党史研究室又命名它为湛江市中共党史教育基地。[2]百度百科另称该村2006年获评「广东省革命传统教育基地」。[1]

荣誉[edit]

甘林村先后于2019年、2020年两度入选省级民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单；2022年9月获认定为「湛江市文明村」。[3]
