南赤村是广东省湛江市麻章区麻章镇的行政村，村名取自所辖的南畔村和新、老赤水村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

南赤1982年属甘林乡，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1999年又改回村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，村域面积3890亩，共2549人，辖合流、老赤水、新赤水、南畔内、南畔外5条自然村。村民种水稻、甘蔗、蔬菜和番薯，花卉另作一业；有土地被麻章开发区征用，村民改到附近工厂上班。合湛铁路广东段的建设征用了村里数个经济合作社的土地。[2]

2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[1]
