麻章镇属广东省湛江市，是麻章区的一个镇，坐落在区的东北角：东靠赤坎区，北界遂溪县黄略镇，西面是遂溪县岭北镇，南边伸到湖光岩风景区一带，与湖光镇相邻。镇域134.44平方千米。[1]第七次人口普查（2020年）登记的常住人口为13.16万人。[1]原为区公所，1987年4月改建为镇；[1]2021年10月时下设六个社区和三十四个行政村。[1]镇内有麻章区的区委区政府和麻章经济技术开发区；[2]1898年遂溪团练在此设麻章营部抗击法军，营部旧址为广东省文物保护单位[3]，甘霖村梁氏宗祠是抗日战争时期的民众夜校旧址，跳水运动员全红婵出生于镇内迈合村。[4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后，镇域内部分村庄曾隶属湛江市潮满区。1987年4月，区公所撤销，改设麻章镇。[1]

1995年6月，国家在全国选定57个小城镇开展综合改革试点，麻章镇名列其中。1998年以来，镇上先后得到的称号有广东省体育先进镇、固本强基示范镇、科技专业镇、优秀基层党委示范镇，以及湛江市先进党委、发展工业标兵镇等。[2]

2015年前后，镇内多个村民委员会经农村基层组织重构一分为数个：谢家村分出郭家、后河、云头上、云头下和城家内、城家外六个村；大塘村分出白水坡、沙沟尾、李家、厚礼南、厚礼北五个村；畅侃村分出花村；高阳村分出大鹏村、符竹村。[6][7][8][9]

麻章镇紧邻湛江市区，据镇概况介绍，距湛江港13公里，距民航机场10公里，距火车北站5公里；国道325线、国道207线、黎湛铁路和粤海铁路从境内通过，是湛江通往海南和大西南的交通要道。[2]气候为亚热带季风气候。[1]

六个社区里，福民、瑞景、政通、金川四个以辖区内的路命名，民乐取自民乐中街，黄外则因所在的黄外村而得名。[10]村一级共34个行政村，谢家村、大塘村、笃豪村等。[11]

镇概况介绍称，种植业以稻谷、蔬菜、甘蔗、花卉为主，兼有花生、番薯、木薯，另有淡水养殖和禽畜饲养；工业门类包括建材、食品、电器、机械、化工、橡胶制品、饲料和音像制品，各类企业2200多家，并形成北运果蔬、生猪、木材、汽车配件等专业市场。[2]2019年的统计是：工业企业365家，其中规模以上53家。[1]镇内的大塘村入选2022年淘宝村名单，调塾村（番荔枝）和聂村（蔬菜）2020年入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，详见各村条目。[2]

镇概况介绍称，镇内办有中学4所、完全小学25所，在校学生约1.5万人，九年义务教育已经普及。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

麻章墟鱼亭西街的武帝庙，始建于清乾隆年间，同治元年（1862年）重修，1993年重建，是四合院式建筑，由前殿、拜亭和后殿组成，占地与建筑总面积466.3平方米；庙中留有道光八年、同治元年、光绪四年和十三年的碑刻各一方。[12][3]法国租占广州湾并向遂溪内地推进时，当地官绅与百姓编组团练义勇抵抗，麻章营的营部就设在这座庙里。据介绍，东菊一战中约250名义勇对约400名法军，土枪土炮相拼，打了一天，杀伤法军数十人，“抬枪胜洋枪”由此传开。[12][3]庙址以“抗法斗争麻章营部旧址”之名，自1961年起列为广东省文物保护单位；2015年，又获评湛江市爱国主义教育基地。[3]

甘霖村（本站村名作甘林村）的梁氏宗祠，是抗战时期的民众夜校旧址。1939年，遂溪七小的中共党支部派支仁山等人到村里办夜校，借用宗祠开课，学员后来增至300多人。[4]该址在1995年10月由湛江市人民政府公布为市文物保护单位。[4]详见甘林村。

著名人物[edit]

跳水运动员全红婵生于2007年3月28日，出生地为麻章镇迈合村，现属中国国家跳水队，主项是女子10米跳台。[5]她的家乡情况见迈合村。
