文参村是东山街道下辖的行政村，建国初期与调文同属文叁乡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

文参在建国初期与调文共用一个乡名，称文叁乡；1958年撤乡后成为文参大队。公社撤销后的1983年，文参重新有了自己的乡，1987年降为管理区，村委会则是1999年才设立的。[1]

荣誉[edit]

文参村近年的荣誉有三项：2021年1月列入湛江市2020年度「全市文明村」名单；2023年11月进入广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年4月又在广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单之中。[1]
