调石村是东山街道下辖的行政村，由调市、什石两个旧村并合而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1986年，调市、北山、什石合称北市乡。1989年调市与什石合设调石管理区，1992年再分设为调市、什石两个管理区，2005年重新合并，称调石村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，调石村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年9月被认定为2022年湛江市文明村，并同时认定为当年湛江市先进文明村。[1]
