什足村是东海岛东山街道下辖的行政村，建国初期与龟头同属一个乡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，什足与龟头合称什足乡。1958年撤乡成立公社，两地分开，什足设为什足大队；1989年撤公社设管区，称什足管理区；1999年改设什足村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，什足村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年9月被认定为2022年湛江市文明村。[1]
