调港社区属湛江市赤坎区调顺街道，与调顺村相邻，城乡分类为主城区。[1]社区名取“风调雨顺，回到港湾”之意，寄望居民有一个安乐的家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，这里先后叫调港大队（1980年）、调港乡（1983年）、调港居委会（1986年）、调港管理区（1989年），直到2002年又称调港居委会，简称调港社区，此名沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中，有调港社区。[1]
