滨海社区是广东省湛江市赤坎区沙湾街道下辖的社区，位于金沙湾商圈的核心地带，辖区约1.5平方千米，居委会设在海丰路。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区地处海滨大道以北，濒临大海，取“滨海”二字为名。其前身是1980年设立的滨海大队，1983年改称滨海乡，1986年改为居委会，1989年改为管理区，2002年复称居委会，沿用至今。[1]

社区概况[edit]

社区范围北起军民路，向南沿体育北路、海滨大道中线，东到海丰路。据博雅地名网所载社区介绍，常住人口约3600户、11000人；辖区内有省、市、区单位3个，设农贸市场1家、幼儿园2家，有较大的商务楼宇民大中心广场。社区设党支部1个，有党员178名。[2]

社区获得过多项荣誉：2008年获广东省“六好”平安和谐社区、广东省城市体育先进社区称号；2023年12月，社区工会户外劳动者爱心驿站被全国总工会评为“最美工会户外劳动者服务站点”；2024年1月被确定为2023年度广东省民主法治示范社区；2025年5月，社区又进入全国示范性老年友好型社区的创建名单（2025—2026年度）。[1][2]
