寸金社区属广东省湛江市，在赤坎区寸金街道辖区内，属主城区，与西苑、拥军、九二一社区相邻。[1]社区因居委会设在寸金桥附近而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该地先后称寸金大队（始设于1980年）、寸金乡（1983年）、寸金居委会（1986年）和寸金管理区（1989年）；2002年起再称寸金居委会，即今日的社区。[1]

2019年9月，寸金社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
