管理区辖内有锦岭、锦坪、新联、新塘等村，村名取其中的「锦」「新」二字。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域6.3平方千米，山地700亩，耕地1630亩，另有水塘300亩，农业以水稻为主。[1]

人口民族[edit]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为锦新生产大队，1984年改锦新乡政府，1986年起设锦新村民委员会，1989年改称锦新管理区，1998年10月9日批准定名锦新村民委员会，此后未变。[1]
