该村委会设在与恩城街道米仓居委会相邻的交界处，村域12.6平方千米，耕地1750亩，其中水田1300亩、旱地450亩，农业以水稻为主。[1]

人口民族[edit]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年建生产大队，1984年改为乡人民政府，1986年起为沙栏村民委员会，1989年改称沙栏管理区，1998年10月9日恩平市政府批准定名沙栏村民委员会，此后未变。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把沙栏村定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2024年1月，该村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
