历史沿革[edit]
1986年起归恩城镇管辖，当时叫南兴管理区；1998年10月9日经批复改为小岛社区居民委员会。[1][2]
社会治理[edit]
在2021年的名单中，小岛社区属广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位。[2]2025年，恩城街道提出把小岛社区建成智慧平安社区试点。[3]
