概况[edit]

村位于塘口镇西南部，赤马线从旁经过，到开阳高速塘口段出口约5公里；农业以水稻为主，养殖为辅。[1] 百度百科列出的11条自然村为五桂、大庇、秋丰、东西安、东升、永安、沃桂、东明和仓一、仓二、仓三。[2]

仓东与遗产保护[edit]

村内的仓东遗产教育基地，以遗产保护、活化和教育为目标，鼓励公众参与社区营造；这个基地2015年得到联合国教科文组织的亚太区文化遗产保护优秀奖，2021年又被该组织亚太遗产中心评为「全球十大遗产教育创新推荐案例」。[1] 仓前村已入选中国传统村落名录（第五批），并进入广东省乡村旅游开发资源目录（第一批）和广东省文化和旅游特色村名单（第四批）。[1]

近年建设[edit]

全域土地综合整治项目在村内建有北义现代农业示范基地；镇里在这里流转380亩基本农田，由企业、农户合作，种植一年两造的玉米。[1][3] 北义入选省「百县千镇万村高质量发展工程」第二批典型村培育名单，镇的村庄规划列其为特色保护类。[4][5]
