高冠是广东省台山市川岛镇高笋村的一条自然村，在上川岛东南部。村子东南面靠着一座山，山顶形状像帽子，「高冠」由此得名。[1][2] 镇政府称高冠有深水港湾和沙滩，适合发展旅游。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村前的银沙滩长约0.8千米，三面是山，一面临海；沙粒细白，滩坡平缓，两侧多礁石，海面上正对着3个小岛。[1] 沙滩后面的防浪沙堤上长着茂密的防护林，再往里是水田和鱼塘。[1]

沙滩周围有几条山溪，旱年也不断流；村里蓄积的淡水主要来自水库收集的雨水。[1] 川岛属亚热带海洋性气候，一年中可以下海游泳的时间约有半年。[1]

经济[edit]

村民捕鱼基本沿用传统方式。高冠湾渔场的水产品种多，其中不少价值较高，旅游网认为适合开展海钓和矶钓。[1] 高冠湾海边建有婚纱摄影基地，为情侣提供海岛婚纱照拍摄和海滨旅游服务。[1]
