南厅是广东省台山市北陡镇那琴村下属的自然村，在那琴圩附近。[1][2] 明代万历年间，村里的容维翰、容文烶父子先后中试出仕，村中至今留有为纪念他们而建的容太守祠。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

容太守祠是一座砖木结构的祠堂，三间两进，红砖砌墙，硬山屋顶，屋面铺辘垌瓦；前廊立两根石檐柱，架有虾公梁，门楣的花岗岩上刻着「容太守祠」，落款为文蔚所书。由于年代久远，祠堂已经残破。[1] 村后有一处叫「小流槽」的景点。[1]

著名人物[edit]

  • 容维翰：明万历六年（1578年）贡生（另一说为秀才），历任南雄府训导、临高县教谕和浔州府教授。[1][2]
  • 容文烶：容维翰之子，万历三十一年（1603年）中举，先在始兴县任教谕，后来做过广西永淳知县；所作《黄叶落赋》在当地流传很广。[1][2]

父子两人卸任后都在故乡住了很长时间，他们的后人后来迁到了那琴旧圩。[2][1] 镇文化站推测，那琴圩西侧的琴溪古桥可能就建于这对父子在世的万历年间。[2]
