丹堂村是海宴镇下辖的行政村，属广东省江门市台山市，在海宴镇东部：东面临南海，隔海可以望见川岛，东北面经山咀港与广海镇相通。现在的村委会在2004年底由原凌冲、北头、南头、沙边四个村民委员会合并组成。[1][2][3]

镇政府2026年公布的村域面积为7.5平方千米（两部百科作5.5平方千米），全村有11个村民小组，户籍5695人、常住2216人，村党委有党员165人。[1][2][3]

快懂百科记载，丹堂村有12条自然村、11个村小组，共1497户、5810人，是镇里人口较多的村，村落分布比较零散。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放战争时期，沙边设有游击队的交通站。1949年8月国民党军队准备在海宴围剿交通站时，滨海总队派交通员朱义女赶到沙边等处，通知同志转移。[5]

经济[edit]

全村耕地2808亩，建有花卉、优质粮、对虾养殖和水果等生产基地，也有渔船出海捕捞。[2] 镇政府的资料说，对虾和蚝的养殖已经形成一定规模；村里正推动海洋牧场蓬岛园区项目落地，以此带动村里的基础设施和配套产业。今后的打算是利用较多的咸围，提高养殖品质、培育新品种，并借助海岸线开发滨海休闲和生态体验旅游。村党群服务中心面积300平方米。[3]

快懂百科提到，村里有意发展海滩旅游和休闲项目。[2] 园区名称中的蓬岛位于海宴的东南端，面对南海，水沙湾的沙滩长近5公里，沙子金黄细软；岛上还有天然石室、仙石奇洞、石刻巨书和石安古奇榕树等景物。[4]
