城北村是广东省江门市台山市广海镇下辖的行政村，在广海城以北约4千米，北面和东南面分别与端芬镇、斗山镇相邻。2004年由月明、山背、东山、那章四个村委会合并设立，现分31个村民小组。[1]

城北村以种植水稻为主，以丝苗米列入广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。旅美华侨刘郁南的祖籍月明村、酒店业者陈泽富的家乡山背，都在今城北村境内。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，这一带属台山县第八区的合安乡。到1958年，这里分设广海公社的月明、山背、东山、那章四个大队；1983年四地都改为乡，归广海区公所管辖；1986年撤区建镇，月明、山背、东山改设村委会；1988年四地又改称管理区，1999年恢复村民委员会。四个村委会在2004年合而为一，称城北村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

城北村在广海城的北边，相距约4千米。在叉路口一带与双龙村相接；往北到「洗净坑」，与端芬镇交界；东南面以大同河为界，河对岸是斗山镇。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据广海镇人民政府2026年的资料，城北村户籍登记1912户，合计7198人，常住的约5672人；土地方面，耕地9341.34亩，另有旱地119.09亩、鱼塘3701.18亩。[1]

全村分为月明一村至四村、日明、东升、东华、山背、东山、那章、洋田一村、洋田二村等31个村民小组。凭借丝苗米，城北村入选广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]

著名人物[edit]

  • 刘郁南：1935年生于月明村，少年时到香港谋生，后去加拿大，再转到美国纽约经营果菜和农产品，创办农产品公司。他为家乡月明村、东南里建过学校，1986年和2001年先后为广海中学捐建实验楼和教学综合楼，还出资为家乡铺了水泥路；台山市人民政府授予他「振兴台山贡献奖」。[2]
  • 陈泽富：1918年出生，广海山背乡人，柏宁酒店国际有限公司主席，名下或代为管理的酒店分布在香港、夏威夷、旧金山、伦敦、悉尼和印度尼西亚、泰国等地，客房近5000间。江门市人大常委会于1995年10月28日授予他「江门市荣誉市民」称号。[3]
