环城社区是广东省江门市台山市广海镇下辖的社区，紧挨广海城社区，是广海镇主要的城中村，2004年由环城、校杯石两个村委会合并而成。社区兼营农业、渔业和商业，所属区边村种的芥兰是广海有名的蔬菜。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期这一带由台山县第八区十三乡管辖。1956年，东界、李屋、区边三地各办起初级农业社，次年东界、李屋两社合为东界农业社；到1958年11月，各社改称大队。此后几个大队几经分合：东界大队在1963年并入南湾，双边大队在1963年至1966年间归入乐家大队，到1967年才重新分出单设。[1]

1984年这里设为环城乡。此后的名称依次是：1987年起称村民委员会，1988年起称管理区，1999年起又称村民委员会。2004年8月，环城、校杯石两个村民委员会一并撤销，合设环城社区居民委员会，即今天的环城社区。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区与广海城社区相连，东边到大沙环保工业园，南边到南湾码头基，西边是奇石村，北边与靖安村的古隆村交界。社区办公地点在环市道旁，离广海车站约800米，交通便利。全社区有10条自然村，分为11个村民小组。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据广海镇人民政府2026年的资料，社区登记户籍659户，共2401人。[1] 这里种田、打鱼和经商兼而有之；附近有「华一」锁厂和大沙环保工业区，村民可以就近找到工作。[1]

区边村出产的芥兰是广海的名菜，品种属黄花尖叶种，茎空心而脆，叶嫩味甜，1956年参加广东省农产品展览会获得奖项；村里「水井凼」一带种的尤受称道。早年的广海芥兰一棵可重1公斤以上，现在的单棵较轻，口感却更嫩更脆。[2][1]

社会[edit]

社区内有环城小学、多座文化楼和老人协会，还有大小商铺和一些企业。环城社区获评江门市民主法治村（居）；下属的区边村被评为江门市和广东省的卫生村，东界村、陈边村和莲塘村也是广东省卫生村。[1]
