墩寨村是广东省台山市端芬镇西南部的行政村，地处边远山区，离端芬圩约13千米，和开平市赤水镇、本市三合镇交界，距「千岛湖」大隆洞水库只有约1千米。村委会设在墩寨圩。[1][2]

按端芬镇人民政府2026年的资料，全村面积约34.98平方千米，有49条自然村、41个村民小组，户籍1577户、6624人；农业以冬瓜、辣椒、柠檬和水稻为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地清朝隶属矬峒都；到了民国，这里设有墩寨乡，归第八区；1953年为第十八区墩寨乡。1957年办社时分成墩寨一社、二社两个社，1958年11月分别转为红锋大队和墩二大队，1963年两队合并为墩寨大队。[3][2]

其后又依次改为墩寨乡（1983年8月）、村民委员会（1987年1月）和管理区（1988年9月），1998年11月重新称村民委员会。2004年7月，那潮、凤联、清湖三个村委会一同并入墩寨村，形成今天的规模。[3]

墩寨村是大隆洞水库的移民安置地之一。百度百科记载，村里有16个自然村住着水库移民，共282户、1099人；2023年起，当地对移民聚居片区开展人居环境提升工程，改造道路、整治房屋外立面。[4]

地理环境[edit]

按百度百科的描述，墩寨村东面是本镇的隆文村，西面是开平市，南面是三合镇，大隆洞水库在村北约1千米处。[4] 全村山林面积大，镇政府统计林地约72018亩；耕地14200亩，基本农田约占10279亩。[1] 地名资料所记的耕地是水田6924亩、岗地3355亩，合计10279亩，土壤属沙质浅脚地；所记面积为34.89平方千米，与镇政府的34.98平方千米略有出入。[3][1]

交通方面，端墩公路接通台海公路，端联公路通往三合镇的联安，另有公路从墩寨直达开平。[3]

经济[edit]

村集体的收入主要靠发包资源，村民一方面种植特色农作物，一方面外出打工。[1] 按地名资料的早年记载，当时全村1600户、6726人，田里种稻谷、黄豆、花生、甘蔗以及番薯、木薯、芋头，果树有柑、桔、橙、青梅，也种茶。[3]

那时村里有茶场、板厂、砖瓦窑、碾米机和饮食店，烧制的阶砖、红砖、青砖卖到开平、恩平、中山等地；村内有中学、小学和医疗站。[3]
