莲洲村是广东省台山市斗山镇的行政村，属江门市，在斗山圩东北约1公里处，背靠山林，与斗山圩、中礼村和西栅村相邻[2][3]。村域面积3.5平方公里，分为11个村民小组；据镇政府2026年的资料，户籍人口1733人，常住约542人[3]。据百度百科，村子由陈廷倚在清顺治年间（1644年）建立[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

百度百科记载，莲洲村始建于清顺治年间，由陈廷倚立村，至今已有三百多年[1]。明清时期这一带属矬峒都，民国时期1938年以前归五和区六村乡[2]。人民公社时期这里是莲洲大队（1958年起），1986年设管理区[2]。

清咸丰年间筹建大兴圩（今斗山圩）的十一户人家中，有一户来自莲洲[4]。莲洲村获得过广东省文明村、广东省卫生村等称号，百度百科还记有广东省名村的称号[1][3]。

地理环境[edit]

村境属浅丘地带，农田引响水潭、歧山水库和莲洲河的水灌溉[2][3]。村委会驻莲洲村，到台山县城约25公里[2]。

经济[edit]

据镇政府2026年的资料，全村耕地1487.70亩，其中水田1425.70亩、岗地62亩[3]。农业以水稻为主，零星种植番薯、花生和豆类，家禽多为散养[3]。快懂百科还记载当地特产白瓷坭，早年村内有砖厂、建材店和运输队等[2]。

近年村里在主干道和各自然村安装了路灯，并在华光、龙兴、莲洲、大平等自然村添置了健身器材[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

天平村村中的鳌苑建于1947年，2025年5月被登记为未定级不可移动文物[4]。
