里边村是台山市白沙镇下辖的行政村，在镇境东北部，地处丘陵，北面与开平市相邻；它与三八圩只隔一条河，离台山市区约15千米，离开平长沙约6千米。[1][3] 2026年镇政府资料记人口2917人，设32个村民小组，村委会驻上社村。[1] 村内的「里边市头」是一个每天早上开市的小集市。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，里边一带属光大乡，归台山县第四区。[1] 1958年成立里边大队，隶属三八公社；1986年改设管理区，1998年成立村民委员会。[1] 原降冲村委会于2004年6月并入，组成今天的里边村民委员会。[1] 2006年三八镇撤销后，里边村改属白沙镇。[4]

地理环境[edit]

里边村东面与冲泮村隔着一条涌，南面和西面都与新三八村相连。[1] 全村有耕地2510.23亩，水田占2309.77亩；鱼塘539亩，山岗135亩，另有山丘756亩，都种上了桉树。[1] 沿河建有十多处电力排灌站。[1]

经济[edit]

村民主要种稻谷和蔬菜，养殖以鸡为主。[1] 「里边市头」每天早上开市，市场里有供销社、百货店、饮食店和个体摊档，卫生站、文化室、老人会也设在这里。[1]

2019年，里边村列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
