全村4.5平方千米，划为1个网格（新大江网格），设20个村民小组；常住685人，户籍登记630户、2346人。[1] 农业以稻谷、西洋菜和塘鱼为主，村里还有工艺厂等工商企业。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

新大江一带在明清时期属文章都，民国时期划入台山县第二区的塘面乡。新大江大队成立于1958年，1999年起设村民委员会。[1][2] 改设管理区的年份两处记载不同：镇政府网站作1992年，百度百科作1986年。[1][2]

经济[edit]

据百度百科，全村耕地947亩，以水田为主（918亩），岗地有29亩，建有一处电力排灌站。[2] 村内工商企业有30家，包括兴华工艺厂和新大江工艺综合厂等，另有个体工商户53户。[2] 小学、文化室和卫生站等公共设施都设在村里。[2]
