新大塘村是大江镇所辖的行政村，属广东省江门市台山市，又称大塘村，位于镇东北部的丘陵地带，与河木村、里坳村和新会区罗坑镇相邻。[1][2]
全村1.32平方千米，下设15个村民小组；常住556人，户籍登记562户、2057人。[1][2] 村内中双村有一组碉楼，是当地的特色建筑。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，大塘一带归文章都；民国期间属台山县第二区的塘面乡。1958年设大塘大队，1986年改为新大塘管理区。[2] 据百度百科，村委会驻月明村。[2]
经济[edit]
农产品有稻谷、木薯、番薯、甘蔗和花生，也饲养生猪和鸡鸭鹅等家禽。[2] 信和纸厂、新科化工厂等工商企业设在村里。[1][2]
