麦巷村是大江镇所辖的行政村，属广东省江门市台山市，在镇的东北部，离镇政府约10千米。东面与新会区罗坑镇的六堡村相接，南面是河木村，西面是五星村，北面临潭江。[1][2]
全村6平方千米，有11个自然村、12个村民小组；常住900人，户籍登记516户、1931人。[1] 农业以水稻为主，瓦窑湾风鳝是本村的特色产品。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，麦巷一带属文章都；民国时期归台山县第二区的公益乡。1958年这里称麦冲大队，1986年设立麦巷管理区。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村委会设在麦巷公路边，539县道从村中穿过，离新台高速公路牛湾出入口只有约1千米。[1] 村子在潭江沿岸，建有一处电力排灌站；耕地1352亩。[2]
经济[edit]
除了稻米，村里的特色农产品还有荔枝和瓦窑湾风鳝。[1][2] 村内有十多家工商企业和58户个体工商户。2023年，村集体经济收入32.32万元，来源有鱼塘发包、商铺出租等。[2]
村里设有麦巷小学、卫生站、敬老楼和文化娱乐场。[1][2] 2020年，麦巷村获评「江门市基层党建示范村」，2022年获评「广东省乡村振兴治理示范村」；村里的农家书屋还获评「2022年度江门市优秀农家书屋」。[1]
