慈溪村是广东省江门市新会区古井镇下辖的行政村，坐落在银洲湖东岸，下分慈溪、慈佛、安山3个自然村，约七成村民姓赵，有「皇族村」之称，已入选广东省古村落。[1][2][3]

地理与人口[edit]

据新会区公示的传统村落保护发展规划，慈溪村在古井镇区南偏西约2.3千米处，村域面积约10.4平方千米，东邻古泗，南接奇乐，北连管咀，西隔银洲湖与崖门镇相望。该规划写道，全村有3400多人，旅居海外的乡亲有4000多人，聚落呈三角形分布。[2]

历史与文物[edit]

当地报道称慈溪立村已有580多年，是宋元崖门古战场周边的「皇族村」之一。[1][3] 本厚堂赵公祠在上联里，是村中的赵氏宗祠，2017年列入江门市第七批文物保护单位，登记年代为清咸丰年间。[4] 村里还有建于清代的文昌阁，列为新会区不可移动文物；文昌阁一度失修，后经海内外乡亲捐款修复完成。[3] 规划把古建筑和历史环境保存较集中的区域划为核心保护范围，面积9公顷。[2]

2024年3月，慈溪与霞路两村的传统村落保护发展规划初步成果向村民公示。[2] 此前，两村已同被评为广东省古村落；慈溪村还获过「江门市文明村」「江门市生态宜居村」等称号。[3][5]

教育与文旅[edit]

村里的本厚学校创办于1922年，占地一百多亩，建筑材料大多从国外运回，外观像西式教堂；抗日战争期间校舍几次遭轰炸，主体结构保存完好。[1] 近年这所老校被改造成「书香文化村」，集住宿、研学、团建、餐饮于一体，旁边的原慈溪初中改成了民宿。[1][3]

慈溪村传有陈皮酒酒曲制作技艺，已列入新会区级非物质文化遗产项目，传承人有赵民安、赵卫国等。[3]
