对川茶场位于佛山市高明区的美的鹭湖森林度假区内，由1951年设立的一家县属国营农业示范场发展而来，1962年起使用现名，制茶历史70多年。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

茶场最早是1951年设的一家国营农业示范场，隶属高明县。此后几年里它易名为机械茶叶示范场，并在1956至1958年间开垦出约1000亩茶园，1962年起称对川茶场。[1]20世纪90年代，受市场冲击，部分茶园改种果树。[1]2017年起改造，留下3幢八十年代建的厂房和千株左右老茶树（树龄约60年），由建筑师事务所重新设计建造，2020年建成启用。[1]

经济[edit]

茶园靠山，周围有湖，土壤为酸性红壤。种植的茶树有云南大叶茶、阿萨姆、铁观音以及英红九号等多个品种，制成红茶和绿茶，80年代产品远销港澳和东南亚各地，加工能力最高时每年达50吨以上。[1]现有茶园300多亩，另种荔枝、龙眼、芒果等果树。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

改造后的茶场集茶叶生产、文化体验和旅游度假于一体，设有采茶观景栈道、茶文化餐厅和博物馆等。[1]
