大洋网2026年的报道称，在佛山的市属国有林场中，它的面积最大，生态系统也最完整。世纪之交前后，广东推行森林分类经营，林场原先成片的低效桉树林开始改造；至该报道时，改造面积超过一万亩，森林覆盖率为98.36%，林区的平均气温较市区低3至5摄氏度。[2]百度百科记的森林覆盖率为96.95%，未注明年份。[1]2018年起，中国林科院热带林业研究所在林场设点长期监测造林效果。[2]百度百科另记林场开展自然教育，并在“十四五”期间完成森林抚育一万多亩。[1]
