朗锦村（又写作塱锦村）属佛山市高明区更合镇，归新圩社区管辖，是一个自然村，在沧江河南岸，何姓聚居，村中的明清祠堂群是佛山市文物保护单位，村子于2019年入选第五批中国传统村落[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，朗锦村开村于元末明初，约在1370年，何氏先祖在洪水之后选了一处土塱建村，从远处望去仿佛“塱上之锦”，村名由此而来[1]。1954年6月这一带设塱锦乡，1958年成立塱锦大队，隶属高鹤县明城公社；2004年撤销塱锦村委会，并入新圩居委会[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

朗锦祠堂群从明代中叶到民国初年的三百多年间陆续建成，博雅地名网列出的有何氏宗祠，以及媲鲁、表山、西源、任轩、妙山、天香等何公祠共7座；百度百科则称现存明清祠堂5间，呈“士”字形分布，两处数目不同[1][2]。各祠建造时间有先后，形制却一致：屋顶为硬山式，两侧是人字形封火山墙，头门脊上有灰塑博古，墙身用青砖、墙脚用花岗岩，梁架则是穿斗和抬梁并用[2]。

媲鲁何公祠在村东，始建于明万历四十二年（1614年），坐西向东，三间两进，前廊梁上有人物、花鸟、瑞兽木雕，佛山市人民政府于2006年12月15日将它公布为市级文物保护单位；仁轩何公祠在村东，1721年建成，坐东朝西，格局为三间两进（该页另处写作“任轩”）[2]。

文化[edit]

村中保留着农历二月十三的“角仔节”等民俗；何氏族人在此繁衍，据百度百科，历史上考取功名的人不少。它被列为佛山市活化升级的古村落之一，近年在整治人居环境、修缮祠堂[1]。
