大蔚是汕头市濠江区广澳街道的社区，位于汕头保税区西侧，北邻溪头，南邻三寮。旧称下浍，后写作大浍、大“土会”，2006年经濠江区政府批准，居委会改名大蔚。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明《隆庆潮阳县志》记招收都有三十八村，其中列有溪头、下浍、三寮，下浍应即此村，其他村名与今名相符，由此推算建村已有500年以上。因古时三面环水而取“浍”字；后来泥沙冲积，三面成沙堆，老一辈又把“浍”改成了“土”旁加“会”的生僻字。[2]

1946年属南衡乡，1949年至1958年称大“土会”村，属达濠镇；1959年设大队，1984年设村并成立下五乡（辖三寮、大“土会”、溪头、河渡，乡政府驻三寮）；1986年12月下五乡并入广澳乡，1989年1月随广澳乡并入经济特区广澳管理区，1992年1月属广澳街道，1999年6月成立居委会。[2]2006年6月2日，濠江区人民政府批准（「汕濠府办函〔2006〕171号」）居委会更名为大蔚居委会：因“土会”字生僻，居民代表会议表决改用同音字“蔚”。[2]
