广澳街道是广东省汕头市濠江区下辖的街道，在达濠岛的东南部，东南面向南海，西侧以濠江为界，北面与达濠街道相接。辖东湖、埭头、溪头、大蔚、三寮、河渡、广澳7个社区，街道办事处设在埭头社区。[1][2]

这一带自明代起陆续有人来捕鱼垦地，形成分散的聚落，旧有“广澳十八乡”的说法，又是濠江出海口的海防要地，留有清代炮台和宋代以来的石刻。1989年纳入汕头经济特区，1991年起隶达濠区，2003年起隶濠江区。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明代以前，广澳湾一带荒僻，后来才有渔民和垦殖者零星迁入，聚落彼此相隔甚远，得名“广澳十八乡”。明、清两代这里属潮阳县招收都。[4]

1946年，潮阳县第三区设南衡乡；1956年12月撤区并乡，设广澳乡与潮光乡，次年并入达濠镇。1984年，三寮、溪头、大蔚、河渡四村合为下五乡。1989年1月，辖区纳入汕头经济特区，由新设的广澳管理局管理；1991年11月改隶达濠区，定名达濠区广澳街道办事处；2003年达濠区、河浦区撤销，另设濠江区，街道的建制照旧。[4]

地理环境[edit]

街道在达濠岛东南端，面积的记载有24.7平方千米与约26.7平方千米两种。[1][2]博雅地名网称境内海岸线长23公里，有可停泊2.5万吨级船舶的广澳深水码头，广达大道和汕头保税区都从辖区内经过；地名含广阔的海湾、能泊海船的意思。[2][3]

经济[edit]

改革开放后，广澳深水港区和汕头保税区，加上广澳开发集团与一处液化石油气罐区的项目陆续在此落地，国家先后征用土地16220亩。[3]据博雅地名网转载的2000年数据，街道有8个工业区，工商企业90家，当年工业总产值9.5亿元；渔船539艘，养殖水面近2000亩，出产紫菜、薄壳、西施舌、文蛤等，水产总量5980吨。[3]2011年的农业产值为3766万元，固定资产投资总额10亿元。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

河渡炮台旧址在河渡社区的营盘山上，建于1717年（康熙五十六年），由两广总督杨琳奏准，墙体以贝灰夯成，占地约600平方米，已入选第十批省级文保单位。[6]营盘山自北宋起就有军事设施，山上有宋代的摩崖石刻，2010年3月被列为汕头市级文保单位。[2][6]

广澳炮台遗址在广澳社区南面约三公里的营盘山上，同为康熙五十六年杨琳奏请所建，现仅存一圈墙基和一个炮眼，2014年10月列为汕头市级文保单位。[2][5]百度百科另把威武寨、莲澳炮台列为街道景点。[1]
