华新城社区是广东省汕头市金平区月浦街道下辖的社区，因主要辖华新城小区而得名，是月浦街道办事处的驻地，属城区型社区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原是金园区岐山镇的一部分，岐山镇于1996年12月撤销，辖地划给月浦街道。次年1月街道办事处迁到华新城，下设振华、富华、信华三个居委会，1999年三者合为华新城居委会。金平区成立后的2003年3月，归金平区月浦街道至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区位于金平区人民政府驻地的西北方向，相距约5.13千米，东临揭阳路，南靠澄海路，西至西港，北接月浦社区，面积0.16平方千米，与月浦、湖头、沟南、赤窖四社区相邻。[1]
人口民族[edit]
