沟南社区是广东省汕头市金平区月浦街道下辖的社区，由原沟南村改设，位于金平区西北部，距街道办事处约2千米，村民大多姓许，当地又称“沟南许地”。该村2019年列入第五批中国传统村落名录，村内的传统民居建筑群是汕头市文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村落在沟津溪（今鮀济河）之南，故称沟南；古地名紫菔陇。[2]据《许氏族谱》，许氏祖先在五代末迁入潮州，南宋末年迁到此地建村，至今七百多年；博雅地名网则说，南宋度宗咸淳年间（1265年至1274年），潮州韩山许兆基的第四子许弘烈来此创基。[1][2]

明嘉靖四十二年（1563年）起至民国，村属澄海县。1951年或1952年，沟南、湖头、山兜等村并为铁西乡，后改铁西大队；1973年成立沟南大队，1984年称沟南乡，1987年改村民委员会，1993年称管理区，1999年改居民委员会，2002年称沟南社区居委会，2003年3月起属金平区月浦街道。[1][2]各处对并乡的年份和管理区、居委会的设立年份写法略有出入，此处取村概况页和市区归属的写法。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村东邻湖头，西隔溪与鮀江街道的山兜村相望，南接月浦，北靠汕揭公路，面积约1平方千米。[2]西靠桑浦山，鮀济河流经村域；明清时期，村处在古驿道“鮀江——庵埠”一段，距庵埠铺不足2千米。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2003年有445户、1850人。[2]2015年末户籍人口约2110人，在村人口1980人，外来非户籍人口89人，村民均为汉族，说潮汕话。[1]

经济[edit]

传统以农业为主，改革开放前种水稻、番薯，兼种蔬菜、养淡水鱼；此后村民多从事食品加工、商贸、运输和建筑。特色农产品有红蒂长角豆、大池乌鱼和狮头鹅。[1]村里开辟了工业小区，引进和创办企业20多家。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

“沟南许地”传统民居建筑群于2014年10月10日公布为汕头市文物保护单位，在尚书街九巷一带，建于清代至民国。[1][3]现存传统民居60座，保存完好的有大夫第、儒林第、登科第、慎余居和三希处，大多是“下山虎”或“四点金”格局，有石雕、木雕、嵌瓷等装饰。[1]登科第是清光绪年间澄海知县许乃永的宅第，占地1043平方米，中西合璧；大夫第占地约660平方米，建于清嘉庆二十二年（1817年）；儒林第占地1298平方米，清嘉庆十年（1805年）动工。[1]

村中现存宗祠3座：许氏宗祠、许氏莲祖家庙和世祜许公祠。许氏宗祠占地1068平方米，清乾隆二十五年（1760年）动工，1978年重修，祠前有24根旗杆夹石；世祜许公祠占地918平方米，清光绪九年（1883年）建成。[1]另有古井25眼。村里的旗杆墩共18座，其中12座在大宗祠两侧夹墙内，旌表中进士、举人者。[1][2]

村中保存着嘉庆元年（1796年）正月初一颁给许梦榜父母的圣旨，以汉文和满文书写。[1]

文化[edit]

“标豆狮”是沟南的传统民俗，每年正月二十，村民先到上帝古庙拜祭元天上帝，随后举行，以供品竞标，所得善款用于村里扶贫济困和修路。[1]村里的龙舟竞渡已有200多年，以农历四月二十八日为“龙爷公生”，端午期间赛龙舟；汕头市在2006年首批评选“民族民间艺术之乡”，沟南因龙舟习俗名列其中。[1]

2014年8月，沟南世代相传的家风被评选为“最推崇的十大潮汕家风”之一，内容是“耕读传家，勤学孝亲”。[1]2015年2月，村被评为广东省古村落，同年6月评为广东名村；2019年6月列入第五批中国传统村落名录；2023年4月，社区进入广东省2022年度乡村治理示范村创建名单；2024年11月，又被定为该年度的广东省“美丽庭院”特色村。[1][2]

著名人物[edit]

许应骙（1832年至1905年，一说1903年），祖籍澄海县岐山沟南，生于广州，1850年中进士，后任工部尚书、礼部尚书，戊戌变法后任闽浙总督。[4]村中的尚书街（尚书里）即与他有关。[2]据广东省情网，村里的人物还有清乾隆年间河源县训导许梦榜、汕头开埠初期在汕头拓展商铺的许世祜、曾任汕头商会会长的许乃诏和曾任澄海知县的许乃泳。[1]
