月浦街道是广东省汕头市金平区下辖的街道，位于金平区西北部，北面与潮州市潮安区的庵埠镇相邻，下辖5个社区，街道办事处设在华新城社区。街道的名称取自辖区内人口和面积最大的月浦社区。[1][2]辖区内的沟南村是第五批中国传统村落，保存着成片的清代潮汕民居和宗祠。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1975年以前，这一带一直属澄海县；其后先后归汕头市郊区的岐山公社、岐山区公所和岐山镇。1991年郊区撤销，划入金园区岐山镇。[2]月浦街道是1997年初撤销岐山镇后设立的。[2]此后金园、升平两区在2003年3月并成金平区，街道办事处也改用现名。[1][2]

华新城社区的资料说，岐山镇在1996年12月撤销，月浦街道于次年1月在华新城设址并设3个居委会，两处所写的撤镇时间相差一个月，这里并列记下。[2][8]

地理环境[edit]

街道东面是梅溪河（韩江支流），南面与金园民营科技园、岐山街道相接，西面隔西港河与鮀江街道相望，北面连着潮州市潮安区庵埠镇。[1]面积为9.6平方千米，博雅地名网写作约10平方千米。[1][2]潮汕公路、汕揭公路等从街道穿过，汕揭梅高速公路的出入口也设在月浦一带。[3][7]

人口民族[edit]

2011年，街道常住人口2.67万人。[1]博雅地名网另载有5768户、23632人的数字，未注明年份，与前一数字相差较多。[3]

经济[edit]

街道以潮汕公路沿线的工业带为依托，主要产业有食品、印刷包装、机械以及仓储物流。[3]据博雅地名网转载的街道介绍，辖区内有规模以上企业24家，完成产值90699万元，约占全街道工业总产值的48%；2009年全街道的工业总产值为188564万元，商业销售额为132460万元，外贸出口额为490万美元。[3]百度百科则写到，2011年街道的税收为1537.4万元，另有农业总产值6639万元。[1]狮头鹅养殖、生猪养殖和淡水鱼养殖是街道农业的特色。[3][5]

文化[edit]

街道里的沟南村留有成片的清代潮汕民居和宗祠。该村在2019年进入第五批中国传统村落名录，2015年被评为广东省古村落、广东名村，村内的“沟南许地传统民居建筑群”于2014年10月10日公布为汕头市文物保护单位。[4][5]沟南的“标豆狮”和端午龙舟是延续至今的民俗，详见该社区条目。[5]

湖头社区有建于清雍正十二年（1743年）的天后古庙，并流传着始建于五代、后改名灵聚古庵的庵寺的说法。[6]

下辖社区[edit]

街道下设月浦、湖头、沟南、赤窖和华新城五个社区。除华新城是20世纪90年代后期新设的居民区外，其余4个都由原来的村改设而来，多在1990年代到2002年间陆续改称居委会，再改称社区居委会。[2][6][7][8]
