历史沿革[edit]
社区由原火车居委和廻澜居委合并而成，故名火车头。[1]它原属乌桥街道，乌桥街道的办事处设在这里（北海旁路1号）。[2]2019年9月，社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

西面与振兴、二马社区接壤，东、南、北三面临水，面积0.12平方千米，分5个居民小组。[1]
