居委会在2002年1月的设置调整中定名，此后随金平区的成立（2003年3月）归入光华街道。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东到杏花街和升侨园，西到潮汕路，南到杏花路，北到新岐路，面积0.25平方千米，分5个居民小组，与翠堤湾社区相邻。[1]
