厦岭社区是汕头市金平区光华街道下辖的社区，辖区内有厦岭妈宫，居委会设在潮汕路6号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

辖区一带曾有厦岭村，社区由此得名。[1]厦岭是汕头开埠前内河商船停泊、出海的口岸，当地的厦岭古庙俗称妈祖宫，博雅地名网记其年代为明，1994年10月6日公布为汕头市文物保护单位。[2]

地理环境[edit]

东到潮汕路，西到厦岭路，北到光华路，面积0.316平方千米，分4个居民小组，与杏花社区相邻。[1]
