明珠社区是汕头市金平区光华街道下辖的社区，光华街道办事处所在的社区，居委会设在光华北四路的明珠园。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区因辖区内有明珠园小区得名，1997年命名。[1]2002年1月，原华中居委的一部分与明珠居委合并，改称明珠居委会，当时属升平区光华街道；2003年3月后归金平区光华街道。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东起光华北二路，西到西港，北到光华北四路至西港路一线，面积0.413平方千米，分5个居民小组，与建华社区相邻。[1]
