建华社区是汕头市金平区光华街道下辖的社区，居委会设在光华路100号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

辖区位于光华路下段，社区名从原街道名与路名里各取一字而成。[1]最早在1991年10月归升平区光华街道。2002年1月，原建华居委并入华中居委的一部分，称建华居委会；金平区成立（2003年3月）后随街道归其管辖，2019年光华、乌桥两街道合并后仍属光华街道。[1]

东到潮汕路，西到光华北二路，南到光华路，北到西河路，面积0.486平方千米，分5个居民小组，与厦岭社区相邻。[1]
